The most exciting part of furniture making is designing the "one off". We were recently commissioned by a regular private client to make a table to carry some treasured objet d'art. "Just let me know when I can have it and send me the bill" is all he said. "Wow" infinite possibilities, the ultimate commision and the most daunting of all. The result is now his most treasured piece.
